HEALTH AND WELLNESS NURSE COACH BOARD CERTIFICATION
The first Professional Nurse Coach Board Certification Examination was offered in January 2013 along with Recertification process and criteria through the American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC). There are two different board certifications for The Professional Nurse Coach, the Health and Wellness Nurse Coach (HWNC-BC) and Nurse Coach (NC-BC). The difference between the two is that nurses who also hold one of the holistic nursing board certifications are awarded the Health and Wellness Nurse Coach (HWNC-BC) credential and the nurse that does not hold a holistic nursing board certification are awarded the Nurse Coach (NC-BC) credential. The AHNCC offers the only nationally accredited holistic nurse and nurse coach certification credentials in the United States.
